Kindle DX e-reader

Amazon's launch of its first dedicated e-reader for newspapers, magazines, and textbooks points to a future when digital and analog publishing begins to merge. With increased graphics resolution and a 9.7-inch diagonal screen that's nearly double the size of the book giant's popular Kindle 2 e-reader, the $489 wireless Kindle DX is a departure from previous e-readers on the market. 

"Cookbooks, computer books, and textbooks — anything highly formatted — shine on the Kindle DX," said Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO. The New York Times and The Washington Post announced they will deliver editions to Kindle DX starting this summer.
