Over the last several years, some in tech have worried that Moore's law is running out of steam, that at some point soon, microchips would begin to hit fundamental physical limits that would make further performance gains extremely challenging.
Challenging that notion, however, are Apple's M1 Pro and M1 Max, custom-designed processors that are making experts think Moore's law still has a way to go before hitting a wall.
