Azer Bestavros, associate provost for computing and data sciences, is approaching 30 years at Boston University, and most recently he was appointed to a prestigious, three-year term on the National Science Foundation's Computer and Information Science and Engineering Advisory Committee. But this spring, work had to wait, as he became infected with COVID-19. This is his story.
